Body shaping and contouring have become more popular in recent years, and men have become increasingly interested in improving their physical appearance.
Men are not happy about the fat tissue that accumulates in the lower part of the abdomen and covers the pubic area. When this fat accumulation becomes more than normal, their beloved organs are unable to see the penis and think that their penis is shorter than before. This is partly true. The length of the penis outside the body is shortened and the portion trapped inside the accumulated fat tissue is increased. This situation leads to difficulties other than the visual perception of the man or his sexual partner and the problem of self-esteem. Men who are overweight and have serious fat and skin accumulation in this area admit that they could not perform some of the sex positions they used to exercise comfortably and ask for help to correct this situation. For a healthy and normal sexual life, the desire of couples to merge in the same way as they enjoy is a natural demand.
Excess fat accumulation in this area is expected to be more common in overweight or obese men, although the body type in some people with normal weight is over-fatty due to fat distribution. In recent years, as a result of increased numbers of fatigue obesity surges in large amounts of weight loss in men is another problem group. The belly that loses the fat leads to sagging of the skin in the lower abdomen and the skin surplus that prevents the penis from covering the penis. In these patients, a series of plastic surgery operations called post-bariatric surgery aim to improve sexual function by removing excess skins.
Pubic fat tissue is a result of getting fat and weight gaining fat pad. As I mentioned, weight loss is also a cause and this fatty area can lead to the perception that the penis is short in the patient or the partner.
The excess skin and fat tissue in this area will be surgically removed with age shaping. This area is removed to obtain a more natural look. This process may also include extension and/or thickening of the penis.
The fat shaping is to remove the accumulated fat reservoir using a cannula or perforated steel bar. It can be performed under general, local or sedation anesthesia and can be applied with other cosmetic surgeries.
In anesthesia, we are applying the method called tumulus (inflation) technique. In this method, a large volume of diluted local anesthetic is given to a liquid treatment area and the area is inflamed and bleeding is prevented by the vessel astringent. Fat absorption from this hard and swollen area is easier. Due to local anesthesia, the patient can be treated with less anesthetic medication and long-term pain control is provided after the surgery.
